MOVING AGAIN

I was thrilled to finally move to a new apartment last month. I HATED that lousy studio apartment my school had me in. There were mould and centipedes.  I wanted to knock the place down myself, but a wrecking crew was already assigned to the task.
Well, I got a little place in Sangbong.  I didn't have time to really settle in there because I had to make trips and get many things done. I found out the neighbors were complaining about my cats.  Toby does have a knack for being talkative (crazy boy) and unfortunately Toby and Kyocki came down with diarrhea and made the place stink.  I cleaned out the cat box but the neighbors were already on the phone to the real estate and made their case against me. It would be either myself or the cats, so I choose the CATS!!!
Toby, Kyocki, Mindy and I will be moving to Kangnam tomorrow.  It will be a cat-friendly home and also has a BATH TUB!!!  I want a tub.  I love laying in the tub and reading a good book.  Since the weather will be getting colder shortly, I will be happy to sit in a warm tub.
I also reserved a large cat tower for the cats to climb on.  I hate moving, but I am glad to go to a new  home that will be in a better location.

While an undergraduate student at Andrews University I took a poetry class. I studied some of A.E. Stallings' poetry. She studied lots of classical poetry and literature of Greece. She does translation of poetry from Greek to English. An interesting thing she said was that when she was at university to study ancient, Greek poetry, she came across some poems that described early springtime flowers such as hyacinths blooming at the same time as later spring flowers. She interpreted that as a "golden age". She was later surprised when visiting the Greek countryside and finding those flowers blooming at the same time . She said that sometimes we do have to take things literally. This poem gave me the chills when I first read it. It is so deep and dark. So, I haven't been posting lately. I have been busy working on my Master's Degree in English and a Master's Certificate in Human Rights. I have been enjoying my studies overall. I have been challenged a lot by studying Chaucer this semester (hey, that guy lived six hundred years ago).  I hope to get at least a B in that class. I worked on my degree last summer, taking one class over Summer Session I and two over Summer Session II to get things done and over with.  I got an A and two A- grades.  I have been trying to stay afloat with this semester. I ended up with one late paper for Chaucer due to my factory job I had at the time and time management.  I ended up losing a letter grade, which made me upset. I decided that I have had enough of Facebook. I have been contemplating deleting my account.  I have already deleted my Twitter at least a year ago.  I also don't have Pinterest or Instagram.  I know that I use Facebook too much.
