Today I cleaned my apartment. It still needs some cleaning, but I am glad to have done some laundry and dishes.  I also threw away some junk and mopped the bathroom floor.  I still have to tidy up my main room some more. It does look better than before, even if the cleaning isn't done. 
I went to the Jubilee Church.  http://www.jubileeseoul.com/  I had a good time. I like the sermons they have there. I have decided to get involved with the Jerusalem Ministry, which is a ministry for orphans.  I can go to an orphanage and teach the kids some skills, such as helping them with homework and such. Korea has many children's homes.  Some kids are there temporarily, until they can go back with family.  Others are in need of adoption. I am not sure what I will be in for.

While an undergraduate student at Andrews University I took a poetry class. I studied some of A.E. Stallings' poetry. She studied lots of classical poetry and literature of Greece. She does translation of poetry from Greek to English. An interesting thing she said was that when she was at university to study ancient, Greek poetry, she came across some poems that described early springtime flowers such as hyacinths blooming at the same time as later spring flowers. She interpreted that as a "golden age". She was later surprised when visiting the Greek countryside and finding those flowers blooming at the same time . She said that sometimes we do have to take things literally. This poem gave me the chills when I first read it. It is so deep and dark. So, I haven't been posting lately. I have been busy working on my Master's Degree in English and a Master's Certificate in Human Rights. I have been enjoying my studies overall. I have been challenged a lot by studying Chaucer this semester (hey, that guy lived six hundred years ago).  I hope to get at least a B in that class. I worked on my degree last summer, taking one class over Summer Session I and two over Summer Session II to get things done and over with.  I got an A and two A- grades.  I have been trying to stay afloat with this semester. I ended up with one late paper for Chaucer due to my factory job I had at the time and time management.  I ended up losing a letter grade, which made me upset. I decided that I have had enough of Facebook. I have been contemplating deleting my account.  I have already deleted my Twitter at least a year ago.  I also don't have Pinterest or Instagram.  I know that I use Facebook too much.
